We have observed that a majority of Web3 games are designed for browser or PC experiences, leaving relatively limited mobile Web3 gaming options currently available. Nonetheless, reports published by data.ai indicate that mobile games account for over 50% of mobile gaming industry revenue – so the potential impact of new releases is clear.
The above graph demonstrates that mobile gaming is the primary driver of revenue growth globally, generating $108 billion in 2023 (55.7% of the market) – even though there is a slight decrease from the values recorded in previous years. PC/Mac gaming accounts for 20% of the market, generating $40 billion, while home console revenues account for $43 billion.
These figures clearly indicate that mobile games have the largest market share and, due to their availability and popularity, are powerful tools for Web3 gaming.
Considering the above factors, we decided to develop Fundora as a mobile game instead of a browser or PC game. This ensures that all players can fully enjoy the game’s brilliant benefits we have planned.
